Today's mood = laze around and do nothing *Yah right, as if you can enjoy that*
Here's a random story:
It's 9.15 in the morning. A guy walk into the lab and came straight to the counter.
"Miss, today got printing service?"
I brain-jammed for 3 seconds and reacted with this expression o.O
"Er... yah?" *Printing service is available everyday, twenty-four seven... okay, maybe not twenty-four seven but almost twenty-four six*
"Oh... okay..."
SFX: Beep! *scanned his student card*
"PC 11"
................. 2 minutes later.................
"Excuse me, why I waited so long the pc cannot sign in?"
o.O again.
"Er... coz the pc was just on?" *you just on the pc for like 2 minutes. FYI, KDU pc takes around 4 to 5 minutes to on*
"Oh..." He walked back slowly, a bit blur.
*I know I don't have the right to say him blur but hey, even a people as blur as me won't ask that kinda thing*
"It's gonna take you quite a while to on the pc..."
*sigh... pity him la. Better let him know it's gonna take quite a while*
.............. another 2 minutes..................
"Excuse me miss, I want to ask how to print this paper into one page?"
He showed me his file... it's publisher and he set it into 2 page. At first I thought he set it into A3 size and the lab printer only print A4 paper. But I asked anyway.
"I'm not sure. If it's A4 size then can la. Is it set in A4 size?"
And he gave me the not sure look and gave me the answer.
"My friend set it in A4 size."
*isn't it gonna be the same page once you set it into A4 size? print preview already told you it's gonna be one page*
Sigh. "If it's A4 size then means it's in one page."
And I was holding back my laughter when he asked. Sorry. >.<
It's just that this is like a normal computer basic and we are like in the new technology world. An out-dated PC like this will take quite some time to on it and you can see everyone is printing paper everyday in the lab.
So, isn't this wonderful? This is what you get when you are working in ilab... Swt-ness... xD
