Something new

“For artists like me, Penang is like a paradise. There are lots of heritage buildings, reflecting different styles and periods,” quoted from Chin Kon Yit.

After today's street-walking, I had to really agree and support with what he said. Ignore the artists part in the quote. I'm not an artist but just a tiny little people who live in Penang for 21 years. I'd heard from a lot people telling me that Penang is bored and there's no nice sight seeing in Penang that is worth watching and take pictures or what-so-ever.

There was a period of time where I agreed with them that Penang is too bored and there's nothing much to see but the truth is, THERE IS. If only you believe that there is and pay attention to it. It might be small and just normal but if you look closer, it is there. Always.

Today's street walk changed my point of view towards my own island and I hope you guys will see it too. Here are some pictures I snapped from today's street walk.
Chew's Jetty. Translation of the writing in the wall is 'Do you throw rubbish?' and LOVE THE SEA! YAH! I LOVE THE SEA~~~

One of the Jetty, should be Lim's Jetty. Quite nice, but I still prefer the Tan's Jetty. After all, it's my jetty XD Didn't go to the Mix's Jetty. Forgot about it!!! Must go next time.

One of the houses in Chew's Jetty.

Another picture from Chew's Jetty~ ^^
